據(jù)外媒報(bào)道，奧迪與自動(dòng)駕駛汽車仿真平臺(tái)公司——Cognata合作，加快研發(fā)自動(dòng)駕駛車輛。Cognata表示，該仿真平臺(tái)可重新創(chuàng)建真實(shí)的城市，提供各類測(cè)試情境，包括：可模擬真實(shí)條件的交通模型。
According to foreign media reports, audi has cooperated with Cognata, an automotive simulation platform company, to accelerate the development of autonomous vehicles. Cognata says the simulation platform can recreate real cities and provide various test scenarios, including traffic models that can simulate real conditions.
通過(guò)旗下的自動(dòng)駕駛車輛公司——奧迪智能駕駛公司（Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH，AID），奧迪成為首家與Cognata簽訂多年平臺(tái)合作的車企，有助于縮短其自動(dòng)駕駛車輛的上市時(shí)間。
Through its automatic vehicle company, the audi Intelligent Driving company (Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, AID), audi became the first signed with Cognata platform car companies cooperation for many years, helps to shorten time to market its self-driving vehicles.
目前，通用、優(yōu)步、Waymo等公司都在投資自動(dòng)駕駛功能測(cè)試，并計(jì)劃在不久的將來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)該類技術(shù)的商業(yè)化進(jìn)程。
Companies such as gm, Uber and Waymo are investing in autonomous driving tests and plan to commercialize the technology in the near future.
AID與Cognata的交易可謂恰逢其時(shí)，以色列將國(guó)防軍用技術(shù)及計(jì)算機(jī)系統(tǒng)安全技術(shù)重新部署到無(wú)人駕駛車輛中，Cognata去年募得資金8.14億美元。
而英特爾、大陸、三星、戴姆勒、福特、通用等公司則采用并購(gòu)或建立自主研發(fā)中心的方式獲取以色列當(dāng)?shù)氐募夹g(shù)。Cognata的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)對(duì)手Metamoto在2017年共募得了500萬(wàn)美元。
Cognata的投資方包括：Maniv Mobility、法雷奧、空客集團(tuán)風(fēng)投公司（Airbus Ventures）及Emerge。
The AID deal with Cognata, which raised $814 million last year, comes ata time when Israel is redeploying defense military technology and computer system security technology to driverless vehicles.
